Month of May - Time to tend to our Female Energies
Monthly Flying Star Update
(May 6 – June 5)
The month of May is when we honor our mothers with a special day. In feng shui speak, the Mother energy is represented by the Southwest sector. In 2016, the Southwest has excellent luck. But luck is dynamic and changes from month to month too.
For the next feng shui month, starting May 6 to June 5, the Southwest is afflicted with the Five Yellow, the really bad chi you want to take care of before it hits you. So my lady friends, as well as those of you who have your front door or bedroom in the Southwest sector, please watch out for your health, finances, or career. Same goes for those born in the year of the Tiger, OX, Sheep and Monkey. If something doesn't feel right, please don't ignore it. Take action right away - either put in protective cures, or do something about the situation in your life.
The sectors/rooms with the best luck this month are....Center, East and West
The auspicious 8 star falls into the center forming a sum-of-ten that brings good completion luck. The east is visited by the heavenly windfall star, and the west has the lovely 1 star of income and opportunity.
The sectors/rooms with the worst luck are...Southwest and Northeast
The southwest has the 5 yellow -- so stay away from this door and this area. The northeast hosts the 2 star, and when combined with the 5 Yellow annual star, these two can cause serious problems. Be extra careful here and try to avoid this sector.
Southwest 8/5
The most auspicious sector of the year is afflicted by the bone-breaker Five Yellow star. If this is your front door or you reside in this sector, it is best to lie low and avoid making major decisions. Watch out for illness related to stomach, bone and joints. Energies may be low and stress abound in marital and love relationships. Add metal elements, 6-rod wind chimes and pendulum clock to counter negative energies. Place a Wu Lou next to your bed if you sleep in this sector. If you have crystal balls hanging in windows, remove them for this month.
Northeast 5/2
The Northeast sector continues to be badly afflicted. The 5/2 combination brings inauspicious energies created by the illness star this month. This brings misfortune and sickness of a serious kind. If your bedroom or front entrance is here, do take precaution over your health. Bad business decisions could result in financial ruins and occupants may suddenly develop an incurable disease. Use metal energy to press down on the bad luck. Place a metal Wu Lou next to your bed or the Five Element Pagoda to suppress the illness energies. Avoid open fires as these could result in accidents.
Southeast 1/7
Wealth luck suffers for those who stay in this sector. The robbery and violent star brings potential loss of wealth. Place image or object of blue elephant and rhinoceros for protection. Avoid hanging wind chimes or metal ornaments here as there is risk of injury by metal objects. Watch out for cut-throat competition and cutting gossips at work.
South 6/3
The conflict star drops in for a visit here bringing annoyance, discord and tension to those who reside in this part of the home. Keep this area quiet to avoid stirring up the energy here. Place a red lamp or use bright lights as a feng shui cure. Add laughing Buddha or red and gold colors here to curb negative energy.
East 9/6
The annual energy of the expanding 9 star is energized with the heavenly 6 star this month. Those living in this sector may find themselves with unexpected windfall or good news related to money matter. Enhance the good chi with gems, stones, crystals or cowrie shells to boost the benevolent 6 star energy. The mixed news is that this combination could bring disagreements between generations. Use Yin water cure to reduce tension to calm things down.
West 4/1
This sector has excellent luck for academics, artists, writers and students. Those preparing for examinations will benefit greatly from this combination of stars. Place a 7 Level Pagoda in this area to boost examination luck. It also brings recognition and promotion luck, especially to young daughters. Singles can also benefit from good romance luck. Energize the great energy with crystals, pairs of mandarin ducks for love, and pens and calligraphy sets to enhance writing and academic success.
Center 2/8
This month the auspicious eight star flies into the Center combining with the #2 to form the sum-of-ten that signify completion luck. Occupants with main rooms in this sector are likely to have good financial gains after a bad month, especially in property and financial assets. This is the sector to energize for wealth with good luck symbols to harness the prosperity chi and help bring more opportunities to boost your income and career. Place the Wu Lou or 6 gold coins to keep the illness chi at bay.
North 7/4
A mixed bag of energies here this month. While the #4 star brings some relief to this sector last month’s misfortune, the annual #7 is still a force to reckon with. There may be some opportunity for writers and romance luck could improve. But watch out for romantic scandal especially if the front door or the bedroom is located here. Troubles caused by slip-ups in documentation could also trip up occupants of this sector. Use caution when using sharp objects or cutting tools. Use water symbols or blue and black color linens and accents to neutralize the energies.
.
Northwest 3/9
The #9 expanding star pays a visit to the Northwest where the #3 quarrelsome star is. If your front door is here, you may find conflicts and disagreement flaring up in the household. Keep your front door area brightly lit to offset the negative chi. But do not burn candles or oil lamps here as there is danger of accidental fires.
For other rooms, you can also add red and gold or 6 round crystal balls to bring smooth beneficial heaven energy if there is bickering between generations.
