Double Energies Month (Nov 7 – Dec 6)
Wow, we are into November and there are all kinds of energies going on this month. Early voting for the Presidential Election has begun in many states, and in the last few months, even up till last week, we have seen all kinds of drama show up. This is the kind of energy that is in character with the Year of the Fire Monkey – the unexpected outcome of Brexit, the highly unusual twists and turns of this election year - full of surprises and mischief. The good thing is that there are only two more months left for this turbulent year.

Double Energies This November Month
This is the 10th month (Nov 7 – Dec 6) of the 2016 feng shui year and it’s a doubles month, i.e. the yearly and monthly energies are exactly the same. What this means is that the influence, fortunate or unfortunate, are double strengthened in each sector. So you want to pay attention and try to anticipate any misfortune that might be coming your way.
The homes or rooms with the best luck
If you have your front door, living room, bedroom or a home office in these sectors below, you are going to enjoy some great feng shui winds. Make sure you activate these area to benefit from it and spend as much time there as possible.
Southwest = Big Money, Career, Good Relationships – add water & lights
South = Advancement, Recognition, Help from Heaven – add crystals
Southeast = Wealth accumulation, business advancement – add water
East = Fame and Social Status – add nothing
West = Romance luck & good news for creative and academic pursuits – add crystals

Pay attention if this is your front door, living room, bedroom or home office. Make sure you be more mindful and protect yourself.
Northeast = Double Five Yellow: severe health and/or financial difficulties – add metal
Center = Illness Energy: nagging health problems – add metal and plants, keep quiet
North = Violence & Robbery: watch out for security and accidents – add water / blue
Northwest = Arguments, Conflicts & Legal issues – add bright lights & red
Southeast 1/1
The double dose of the Victory #1 star here brings good wealth luck for career /income as well as accumulation of assets. This is especially so if your front door or office is located in this sector. Place a water fountain here to activate the good luck. You can so use pictures of water or an aquarium. If this is a bedroom, do not use water. Use bells and metallic objects, or a wealth sailing ship instead.
South 6/6
The South sector enjoys excellent money luck – the kind that is of a windfall nature from the heavens. It could also mean monetary gains through influence and people coming to your aid. Display 6 Big Metal Chinese Coins or a Wealth Bowl in the south corner of the family room to manifest the good luck. If your front door is here, place a spiritual object such as a picture of a deity near the entrance of your home to welcome in the heaven energy to your house. If this is a kitchen area, watch out for injuries by sharp objects due to too much metal energies.
Southwest 8/8
The Southwest continues its streak of superlative good luck. The year’s prosperity energy is doubled is month making it the luckiest area of the house. The Southwest is especially auspicious for those houses with front doors here bringing some serious money and wealth luck to the residents. Do not miss this opportunity to activate the prosperity energies with a crystal globe, crystal cluster, 8 auspicious symbols, wealth vase or a gold sailing ship – any symbol of wealth and success. You can also use a water feature like a fountain filled with gold ingots and gems. Spend lots of time here – working, entertaining or relaxing.
East 9/9
The #9 star relates to future prosperity as well as popularity. With two nine’s in the East sector, residents here can benefit from smooth relationships that translate to good career and promotion luck. This could be a good sector for you to make long term plans for income if your work is in sales. You can display a water dragon here to activate for good fortune, or display a pair of mandarin ducks to activate for love and romance.
West 4/4
The #4 star is good for academic pursuits and romance luck. If your work revolves around written communications, academic studies and research, or artistic expressions, working here this month will bring you enhanced creativity and rewards. If you live in this sector, you may enjoy greater romance luck as others find you irresistible. You can add plants or flowers to boost love luck if you are single. If you have a water feature here, remove it for this month as it could cause attract unwelcome marital or relationship problems.
Center 2/2
Alert - Double Illness energies in the Center of the house! This means everyone in the home gets affected. Watch out for excessive strain and stress over money and/or health. Keep an eye out for illnesses related to stomach upsets, abdominal pains, digestive system and reproductive organs. Hang a 6-rod metal windchime, display a metal wu lou or add lush plants here to exhaust the sickness energy. Serious injuries caused by mishaps on the road is also possible. Drive safely and hang protection amulets in your car to protect against accidents.
Northeast 5/5
Alert – Double Five Yellow in the Northeast = Danger! The Five Yellow is a deadly energy not to be dismissed. The double combination of both the year and month’s Five Yellows compounds the negative energy that could be even life threatening. It could cause major loss of money, serious accidents, or severe illness such as cancer. Display a solid 6-rod metal windchime, add a metal fan, or a solid metal object to exhaust the afflicted earth energies. Add a protection amulet in your car to protect from accidents. Keep the area quiet, and best to avoid using this room or part of the house.
North 7/7
The #7 star brings violent and robbery energies. A doubling of this energy in the North sector threatens to bring some dangers to career and income. If this is your front door, keep the area well-lit and be extra vigilant about security. You can display a pair of blue elephant and rhinoceros to add some protection energy. If this is your bedroom, try to avoid overworking and be careful around metal objects, including driving in a car. For other rooms, you can add water to dissolve some of this negative vibes.
Northwest 3/3
The double 3’s in the Northwest this month is going to afflict the man of the household; and if this if the front door, the whole family will be in a bad mood. The energy is combative, argumentative, and full of conflicts and discord. If unchecked, small misunderstanding flare into big arguments that could lead to fights and legal problems. Keep this area calm and quiet – do not stir up the bad vibes with loud sounds like music or the TV. If this is your office, there may be gossips, slanders and quarrels. Make this area bright with lamps, and use red colors to burn off the excessive negative wood energy here.
